The Centennial Education Foundation (CEF) is a 501c3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization committed to providing “above and beyond” enriching educational opportunities, programs, and projects for students in the Centennial School District. CEF is independent of the School District.

In 1997, CEF was the vision of a former superintendent, Dr. Nancy Reid.  She wanted a group of stakeholders to come together to be able to provide grants and programs that tax revenues couldn’t support.  She saw the need and felt it should include, Centennial employees, alumni, businesses, community members, parents, and students.  Proudly, her vision is still going strong 24 years later.

A testament to the committed work of CEF, two founding members remain on the Board, Carolyn Fisher, and Ron Schumann.  Along with them, many Board members have an ongoing long tenure serving the Board.

We began by awarding grants for a maximum of $500.  As we have grown, we increased our categories of grants.  Teachers can apply for $500 grants, $1,000 grants, and soon there will be $2,500 grants.  Plus, we have provided a variety of programs for the District, including… A bullying program for middle schoolers, a program called Thrive, that will help support mental health, and most recently, virtual simulations for math and science.

  • The Centennial Education Foundation (CEF) is counting on your support to help make a difference in the lives of the students in the CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.

  • Since our inception, we have provided more than $1 million dollars in grant money to impact the educational needs and change the lives of thousands of students.

  • Giving the gift of education is truly the gift that keeps on giving!

Please consider CEF in your annual gift contributions. YOUR support will help further the mission of CEF for years to come and guarantee the future for the CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT students and the surrounding community.

Every dollar contributed is fully tax-deductible!
